MMR Production Controller
Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.
Consolidates and analyzes information from Operations or Project coordinators, create and release service orders (SAP). Creates detailed work packs complete with kitted parts to execute work in workshop. Provide detailed workshop scheduling and resource planning requirements. Ensure continuous work flow through the workshop and capture any additional variations out with original work scope. Deliver completed scope of work to Operations/Project Coordinator per original requirements.
What are the minimum qualifications an employee must have in order to perform the duties of the position (i.e. educational requirements, licenses, certification, work experience, training, etc.)?
BA or BS in business administration, procurement, operations, engineering, finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
Four to seven years experience in marketing, scheduling, materials, engineering, projects or financial analysis with exposure to the project management process or Master’s degree and two to five years experience. Technical or engineering experience preferred.
Must demonstrate strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with suppliers and co-workers in a team-based environment.
Must demonstrate good report writing and presentation skills.
Demonstrates ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
Shows evidence of good organization and planning skills.
PC skills including spreadsheet, word processing, relational database, project management software and SAP or similar mainframe experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Some understanding of internal economic factors affecting projects to which assigned.
