Job Description

 


An integral role which will see you responsible for developing the digital strategy and proposition. You will be involved in a wide-range of marketing communications activities that include campaign planning, brand management and content generation to drive engagement that generates increased traffic to CityU owned digital platforms. You must have the ability to create engaging written, graphic, and video content while staying up-to-date on latest marketing technologies and social media. In addition to this you will need to be analytical, customer centric, driven, organised, resilient and ambitious, with a flair for the creative. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

Manage all corporate digital assets (websites and relevant landing pages). 

Oversee the strategy and execution of all digital, social and offline communications initiatives, including both organic and paid channels (to include, SEO, PPC and paid social) to support the various stakeholders. 

Develop engaging online content including website, social media, email and mobile marketing and analyze content success. 

Work collaboratively with the PR & Media Manager on social media management and posting to all platforms for the company including, but not limited to Blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. 

Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; proactively recommend new digital strategy, tactics and projects that will amplify and improve online reputation. 

Reporting on website, digital and social metrics on a regular basis along with recommendations based on insights and translate these opportunities into actionable plans with stakeholders. 

Analyzes online statistics and marketing campaigns and identifies the best practice to optimize online marketing spend and performance to ensure success and continuous improvement. 

Develop and manage projects and team members, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects.
